Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced it will be closed during the next two weeks.
The state tax authority said following the decision to close government offices until May 28, MIRA have also decided to stay closed for the next two weeks as part of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19. MIRA said a date to reopen the authority will be announced later.
Moreover, MIRA said as the authority has not been open since April 15, arrangements will be made for tax payments deadlines. MIRA revealed the deadline will be changed if it falls on the closed dates. MIRA revealed further details will be disclosed in the coming days.
Furthermore, MIRA announced all online services will be available without any interruptions.
