Fuel Supplies Maldives (FSM) has announced the petrol shed near Alimas Carnival in Male' City will be open starting from June 14.
FSM stated the petrol shed FSM Easyfill 2, operated in front of Alimas Carnival, will be open from 0800hrs to 1530hrs, and from 1630hrs to 2200hrs daily.
Since a lockdown was imposed in the Greater Male' Region due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FSM had been providing services in Male' only through the petrol shed near the swimming track area and the petrol shed in Male' Industrial Village. FSM had also been operating the petrol shed in Hulhumale' during the lockdown.
Last month, FSM announced customers can now make payments using Bank of Maldives (BML) cards at the petrol sheds. The decision was made to reduce cash transactions as part of efforts to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
