Health Protection Agency (HPA) has revealed the number of COVID-19 cases in the Maldives has risen to 2,400.
HPA said 416 individuals are currently undergoing treatment for COVID-19 in the Maldives, including 15 patients who are undergoing treatment at Tree Top Hospital and in the DH11 facility at Dharumavantha Hospital. A total of 1,969 individuals have made full recoveries from COVID-19 in the Maldives, representing a recovery rate of 82%. Meanwhile, the country has recorded 10 deaths from COVID-19, including five Maldivians, four Bangladeshis and one Filipino.
There are currently 115 individuals are currently in quarantine facilities and 275 individuals in isolation facilities across the Maldives.
