HDC seeking parties for development of mixed residential buildings in Hulhumale’

Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has issued an announcement seeking parties for the development and sale of mixed residential buildings in Hulhumale'.

HDC is seeking parties to develop four mixed residential buildings in Hulhumale', including three 14-story buildings and one 10-story building. The plot areas of the proposed 14-story building are 24,000 square feet, 26,000 square feet and 30,000 square feet, while the proposed 10-story building would have a plot area of 12,000 square feet.

HDC has asked interested parties to register by August 13. The deadline to submit proposals has been set as September 24.

The bid security for the project is USD 32,450 for local parties and USD 100,000 for international parties. Further instructions for proponents have been included in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document available for download from the website of HDC.

The government has also launched a housing project in Hulhumale Phase II to develop 1,700 housing units. The project, which is worth USD 133 million, is expected to be completed within 2 years.
