The national airline, Maldivian, has decided to commence commercial flight operations to Dhaka, Bangladesh on August 4.
Dhaka is the first international destination Maldivian will be resuming operations to since the COVID-19 pandemic. Maldivian revealed its flights will operate to Dhaka twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday, beginning from August 4. A one-way ticket for Dhaka will cost USD 433.
The opportunity to make reservations has now been opened. Maldivian revealed passengers must hold a negative test for COVID-19 which was done 72 hours prior to the departure time. The certificate must be provided from a government authorised health facility and must be registered at Maldives Immigration 24 hours before departure.
