MTCC concludes Felidhoo harbour extension project

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has completed the harbour extension project of Felidhoo, Vaavu Atoll.

MTCC revealed the design and build of the harbour extension project was completed on July 30. MTCC said the project included the construction of a 126-metre quay wall, a 61-metre breakwater, a 200-metre revetment and a 610-square-metre paved area.

The government of the Maldives contracted the harbor expansion project of Felidhoo to MTCC on September 5, 2019. The project was contracted to be completed within 210 days at a cost of USD 1.2 million. MTCC commenced the project on February 2, 2020.
