Fenaka Corporation Limited has achieved the certification of International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
Fenaka achieved ISO certification following an assessment carried out to verify the quality of its services and the implementation of workplace safety measures in accordance to international standards. The state-owned utilities company said the short and long term goals of the company and the key targets under each of these goals have been formulated as part of efforts to achieve ISO certification. The company added the goals are linked to the vision of the company, with each department working towards a specific set of targets to achieve the goals.
Fenaka Corporation provides electricity, water and sewerage services across the atolls. After operating in losses up until 2018, the company ended the year 2019 with a net profit.
