Health Protection Agency (HPA) has revealed the total number of Maldivians who tested positive for COVID-19 has surpassed 6,400.
As per the statistics of HPA, 59 new cases were reported between 1800hrs of September 27 and 1800hrs of September 28, including 47 locals and 12 expatriates. HPA said out of the 59 new cases, 54 cases were detected from Greater Male' Region and 5 were from the atolls and resorts.
The latest cases reported in the Maldives has taken the total number of cases to 10,157, including 1,166 active cases, 8,950 recoveries and 34 deaths. HPA said a total of 6,415 Maldivians have tested positive for the COVID-19 while the number of expatriated who tested positive for COVID-19 is at 3,742.
