Over 18,000 tourist arrivals recorded since July 15

Maldives Immigration has revealed over 18,000 tourists have visited the Maldives, since reopening borders in July 15.

As per the latest statistics, 9,538 tourists arrived to Maldives in September. The statistics show the total arrivals recorded since reopening borders is at 18,867.

The highest number of arrivals in September were recorded from Russia, UAE, US, UK and Spain. In this regard, 2,065 arrivals were recorded from Russia, 1,029 arrivals were recorded from UAE and 935 arrivals were from US. Meanwhile, 625 and 466 tourist arrivals were recorded from UK and Spain respectively.
