Health Protection Agency (HPA) has requested all individuals who have travelled from Dhevvadhoo, Gaafu Alifu Atoll since November 30 to notify the agency.
Dhevvadhoo has been placed under monitoring after several cases of COVID-19 were detected from the island. HPA asked all individuals who have travelled from Dhevvadhoo to another island since November 30 to notify the agency. The agency has also urged such individuals to visit the nearest flu clinic to test for COVID-19.
HPA has also asked individuals who have travelled from Dhevvadhoo to another island within the past 14 days to quarantine themselves immediately for 14 days. The agency has asked such individuals to remain in quarantine until exit test results are confirmed negative.
Meanwhile, HPA has also asked school students who have travelled from Dhevvadhoo since November 30 not to attend school yet. HPA states such students must remain in home quarantine until PCR test results are confirmed negative.
