Additional generators brought to Addu to increase power capacity

Fenaka Corporation has procured an additional set of power generators to Addu City to increase the power capacity of the city.

Fenaka stated additional generators were brought to Addu to cope with the increased power demand during the upcoming month of Ramadan, which coincides with the dry season. Fenaka stated the additional generators will ease some of the power network problems faced in Addu.

Meanwhile, a project is underway in Addu with China’s power giant Dongfeng to install a power grid with the capacity of 20 megawatts. The project requires building a new powerhouse and increasing power capacity of Addu City to 36 megawatts. This is a USD 37.5 million project.
