First Lady tests positive for COVID-19

President’s Office has revealed First Lady Fazna Ahmed has tested positive for COVID-19.

President’s Office revealed the First Lady tested positive on April 15 and is currently undergoing isolation. The President’s Office revealed President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and their children have since tested negative for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police Mohamed Hameed has also revealed he had tested positive for COVID-19. He joined the first meeting of the newly formed Police Board virtually on April 15, due to his positive COVID-19 test.
