MTCC begins shore protection in Fulidhoo, Vaavu Atoll - Photo: MTCC
Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced a shore protection project in Fulidhoo, Vaavu Atoll.
Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure contracted the shore protection project of Fulidhoo to MTCC on December 28, 2020. MTCC said the project includes the dredging and excavation of 2,127 cubic metres, the construction of 210-metre groynes and a 270-metre breakwater.
The value of the project is USD 1.09 million.
