Ministry of Health has contracted Clay Limited Liability Partnership to develop the extension building of Noonu Atoll Hospital.
Clay Limited was awarded the contract to develop Noonu Atoll Hospital Extension Building within 147 days. The project costs over USD 130,000.
The health ministry stated the project aims to resolve the difficulties faced in Noonu Atoll Hospital due to lack of sufficient space. The ministry revealed the extension building is being developed in an area of 242 square metres. The ministry further revealed the building will accommodate 6 OPD consultation rooms, a laboratory and a waiting area.
The health ministry also revealed the wards of Noonu Atoll Hospital will also be renovated under the project to upgrade the services of the hospital. The ministry stated the contract to install air-conditioning in the hospital will be signed on May 2.
