MI College has signed with the Nilai University of Malaysia to conduct Biotechnology courses in the Maldives.
At a ceremony held at Hotel Jen, the agreement was signed by the Chairman of MI College Ahmed Muhthakee and the Vice-Chancellor of Nilai College Dr. Azhar Bin Ismail. As part of the agreement, MI College will offer BioTech courses from foundation level to Bachelor of Science (Honours).
Speaking to media following the signing of the agreement, Rector of MI College Lamya Abdul Khalid said the aim is to commence the BioTech courses in January 2022. She added the new courses introduced in collaboration with Nilai University will be offered from the island campuses as well.
She noted some classes will require physical attendance while other classes will be held virtually.
