IGMH establishes system to manage medical records digitally

Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has established a Hospital Management Information System (HMIS), to manage all medical records digitally.

IGMH said the purpose of the system is to modernise and strengthen the operations of the hospital. IGMH said HMIS will enable the hospital to provide online services to its patients in making appointments and providing access to prescriptions, lab reports and other such documents. IGMH said a mobile application has been introduced, along with an online portal for patients, where these services would be available.

The application is available to all Android phones starting from December 1. IGMH said the application will also soon be made available for iOS phones.
