Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has decided to extend its laboratory OPD service to 6 hours starting from February 6.
IGMH had downgraded some of its services last month due to a rapid surge in COVID-19 cases in the Greater Male’ Region. The hospital has decided to extend some of its services once again, with laboratory OPD service to be extended to 6 hours and the number of appointments to be increased starting from February 6.
IGMH currently provides its laboratory OPD service from 0800hrs until 1200hrs. The hospital currently issues 200 laboratory appointments per day, which is to be increased to 400 starting from February 6.
IGMH had suspended its elective surgeries on January 22 due to the latest COVID-19 outbreak. However, IGMH is set to resume some of its elective surgeries next week.
