Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has stated it will provide the opportunity for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to operate their businesses at the Container Park. HDC has begun fieldwork to develop the park behind the Redwave Mall in Hulhumale'.
The park will be developed with different coloured containers designed at a low height of two floors. HDC stated the project will be completed before the month of Ramadan. The corporation stated the park is being developed for residents and investors in Hulhumale', in order to create a space for community engagement and collaboration. It also stated the park will be designed to accommodate cafes, exhibition spaces, and co-working spaces.
The park will have an open and green space created to receive the most amount of sunlight, an exhibition space, and a terrace equipped with the concept to hold art and craft exhibitions, reading gatherings, and live events.
