BML donates USD7,000 to family legal clinic

Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated USD7,000 to Family Legal Clinic (FLC) to support its legal aid programme. The donation was handed over to Co-Chairperson of FLC Shafeea Riza by CEO and Managing Director of BML Tim Sawyer at a special ceremony.

The legal aid programme of FLC aims to provide legal assistance to individuals in need. BML stated the donation will allow over 100 individuals to receive free legal help within the year. Additional outreach and awareness programmes will also be organised by the non-governmental organisation (NGO).

BML has supported the awareness and outreach programmes conducted by FLC since 2019.
