Minister of Home Affairs Imran Abdulla has inaugurated the Youth Leaders Network forum.
The Youth Leaders Network, an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, is a consortium of college and university students formed to empower Maldivians and to promote social work.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minister Imran urged participants to become productive members of society who are able to diligently do any work that comes their way, for the sake of the country and their fellow citizens.
Also at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Luayyu Saeed said the students participating in the forum will receive the full support of the ministry and called on them to make full use of this opportunity. He added the Youth Leaders Network is an excellent platform for striving and ambitious young people.
Students at the forum participated in multiple sessions at the forum, aimed at assisting them into becoming responsible members of society, enabling them to contribute and have a greater stake in nation-building.
Minister Imran, Minister of State for Home Affairs Ali Nazeer, and Research Analyst at the Ministry of Arts, Culture, and Heritage Ahmed Alaa also joined the sessions.
