Vice President Faisal Naseem has inspected the progress of preparations undertaken by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
During a visit to the Islamic Centre in Male’, Vice President Faisal Naseem observed the progress of calligraphy works and the installation of new marble flooring at the centre. He also inquired about the various religious programmes planned to be held during Ramadan and the progress of preparations for the programmes.
The Islamic ministry has planned to conduct several different religious programmes during this Ramadan. As such, the ministry plans to conduct religious sermons, special television programmes by the Islamic Studio of the ministry and the weekly Ihya forums during Ramadan. The ministry is also undertaking projects to repair and renovate mosques ahead of the holy month.
