President arrives in Addu as part of tour of southern cities

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed have departed on a trip to Addu City.

President Solih and First Lady Fazna are visiting Addu as part of a four-day trip southern cities of the Maldives. They arrived in Addu after completing a visit to Fuvahmulah City.

President Solih will meet the members of Addu City Council, Women’s Development Committee (WDC), and residents of the city. Further, the president will visit and tour important landmarks and developmental sites initiated by the government and check the progress of these projects during the visit. Additionally, the president is set to inaugurate some of the infrastructural developmental projects in the city. He will also officially inaugurate the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement developed in Addu.

President Solih and First Lady Fazna will be accompanied by a delegation of cabinet ministers and senior officials from the government.
