SDFC reopens opportunity to apply for loans

SME Development Finance Corporation (SDFC) has reopened the opportunity to apply for its Agriculture Loan and Business Assistance Loan. The loan scheme is aimed at Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

SDFC has announced that applications for Agriculture Loan and Business Assistance Loan can be submitted from April 10 onwards. SDFC said although applications for the aforementioned loans will be accepted now, other loan applications will be accepted during May.

The Agricultural Loan is issued by SDFC in collaboration with the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources to assist farmers in the Maldives. The Business Assistance Loan is issued to provide financial assistance to small businesses within a short period of time.

SDFC said application forms for the loans will be available from its website and forms can also be submitted through the website's customer portal.

SDFC is formed to support the emergence and growth of small and medium-sized businesses by providing solutions that cater to the financing needs of small and medium-sized businesses.
