BML Community Fund application now open for NGOs

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for proposals under its Community Fund for the second phase of the year.

The Community Fund is open only for registered non-governmental organisations (NGOs) to access funds up to USD3,237 to implement local projects in the areas of education, environment, sports, and community development. The national bank said registered NGOs can send proposals with supporting documents before June 18.

The Community Fund is a programme to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. BML has provided financial assistance for 65 projects across the country through the fund.
