LOT Polish Airlines has resumed charted flight operations to the Maldives.
LOT Polish Airlines is the flag carrier of Poland. The airline resumed chartered flights between Warsaw, Poland and Velana International Airport (VIA) on June 16.
The airline will be operating chartered flights to VIA once per week. The airline will use Boeing-787 aircraft for the operation, with the capacity to carry 290 passengers.
Over 7,900 tourists visited the Maldives from Poland between January and March this year. This is a 56% increase from this market, compared to the same period last year.
