Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) has raised the salaries of staff working at regional ports.
MPL revised its operational structure and policies to improve the salaries of regional port staff. Board members of MPL visited the Hithadhoo Regional Port in Addu City to explain the new structure and policies to staff.
MPL stated the improved salaries will be in effect starting from next month. MPL stated the revised operational structure would also ensure promotions for several staff. In addition, MPL has also formed an improved retirement policy for retiring staff.
MPL currently operates two regional ports in the country. They are Hithadhoo Regional Port and Kulhudhuffushi Regional Port.
