Ooredoo Maldives has launched the international gaming platform, Ooredoo Nation - The Gamers’ Land in the Maldives with the aim to enable the gaming community in the Maldives and connect them to the endless opportunities of the rapidly budding industry.
The launch of Ooredoo Nation - The Gamers’ Land to the Maldives was announced at a special ceremony held at Dharubaaruge, inaugurated by Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdulla Mausoom in the presence of the management of Ooredoo Maldives and key members of the Maldivian gaming community.
Leveraging on its 5G network and local and international partnerships, Ooredoo Nation aims to bring everything and anything related to gaming all into one platform. Ooredoo Nation enables access to a vast array of gaming gift cards for worldwide platforms including iTunes, Nintendo, and PlayStation. Moreover, gamers can directly activate mobile data packs for widely played games such as PUBG, Garena Free Fire, Mobile Legends, Call of Duty, and Roblox.
In addition to the gaming packs, gift cards and content services, Ooredoo Nation will be hosting local & international tournaments for the gamers. The first local tournament of Ooredoo Nation, PUBG Mobile was announced at the launch event with an exciting prize pool of USD6,500. A series of PUBG tournaments will be held where participants will be leveling up, increasing their prize pool as they move up the leaderboard.
