Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the successful completion of projects in Kinbidhoo, Thaa Atoll, and Landhoo, Noonu Atoll as part of its Community Fund.
Under the project, a picnic area was developed in Kinbidhoo. The space will be utilised by residents and students of Kinbidhoo School and is equipped with huts, traditional joali, wooden benches, barbeque areas, and an outdoor shower.
A barbeque area was also developed in Landhoo through the Community Fund. The space is equipped with wooden benches, traditional joali, and huts in addition to a canteen with a mini library and a storage area.
The Community Fund supports projects in the thematic areas of education, environment, sports, and community development. The national bank is currently evaluating the proposals received for the second quarter of the year.
