President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has constituted the governing board of the Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital in Raa Atoll.
The members appointed to the board are Regional Financial Sector Representative Mohamed Saamiu, Independent Health Sector Expert Dr. Hawwa Inaya Abdul Raheem, Representative of Ministry of Health Fathimath Nasheeda Mohamed, Public Representative Ali Ibrahim, Hospital-In-Charge Adam Mahir, and Member of Raa Atoll Council Moosa Umar Manik.
Furthermore, President Solih appointed Mohamed Saamiu as the chairperson of the hospital’s governing board. He also decided to hand over the management of 14 government health facilities in Raa Atoll to Ungoofaaru Regional Hospital.
