Manta Air, a Maldivian domestic airline, has temporarily halted flight operations to Addu City.

Manta Air stated the flights were halted to conduct maintenance work on the ATR aircraft in its fleet, which are being transferred abroad for maintenance one by one. Manta Air commenced flight operations to Addu on February 24, 2022. The airline currently operates scheduled flights to three airports in the Maldives which include Dhaalu Airport, Dharavandhoo Airport, and Gan International Airport. It launched charter flights to Hoarafushi Airport on September 5 under an agreement with JA Manafaru Maldives Resort.
