Tatabye Tours, one of the top four wholesalers of the Indian market, has organised the longest familiarisation trip to the Maldives.
A total of 13 people from different parts of India arrived in the Maldives on July 26 and explored eight different properties in eight days. Tatabye Tours has a major market share in the Maldives from the Indian market. It is a company based in South India and one of the strongest wholesalers for the Maldives in the Indian market with over 110 direct contracted resorts.
Founder Of Tatabye Tours Roshan Jain headed the group and the Maldives Tourism Board welcomed the participants with the information kit on their arrival on July 26. The team consisted of the best travel professionals from the media outlets which include Travel Geek Holidays, Duniya Safari, Coastline, Travelling Compass, Travel Saga Holidays, 7 Ocean Tourism, Apple Holidays, Pearl Travels, Ocean Touch Tourism, and Sales Marketing Team From Tatabye Maldives. The group was hosted at eight different properties including Sheraton Full Moon Resort and Spa, Lux in South Ari Atoll, Grand Park Kodhipparu, Dhigufaru Island Resort, The Standard Maldives, Paradise Island Resort and Spa, Sun Siyam Iruveli, and Sun Aqua Vilureef where they experienced the world-renowned Maldivian hospitality, unique experiences, and different cuisines at their hosted properties. The purpose of the trip was to create awareness in the Indian market about how the Maldives has recovered as a destination after the COVID-19 pandemic and the unique products and experiences they offer for visitors.
Furthermore, the travel agents will be able to market the Maldives holidays with more precision and dedication after experiencing the products and service standards for themselves. It is the target of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and Tatabye Tours which aims to achieve the familiarisation trips for travel agents across the world.
