Dhiraagu, the first Maldivian telecommunications company, has launched its high-speed Fibre Broadband and DhiraaguTV service in Olhuvelifushi, Lhaviyani Atoll.
Dhiraagu stated the service expansion allows residents to choose from a variety of Dhiraagu Home Fibre Broadband packages that have been developed to cater to different customer segments. They also have access to the biggest data packages with the highest speeds available in the market and will be able to subscribe to the entertainment bundles available on DhiraaguTV.
The service was launched with a special promotion for residents of Olhuvelifushi allowing them to enjoy free connection and free ONT router with every Home Fibre Broadband connection. Customers applying for DhiraaguTV service can also enjoy free connection and free Joybox (set-up-box).
Dhiraagu stated its high-speed Fibre Broadband service is now available to 85% of national households as a result of continued investments. The company’s fibre broadband network is the largest high-speed data network in the nation, which provides services to communities in 96 islands across the Maldives. Additionally, DhiraaguTV has been the first IPTV service provider in the country to extend digital IPTV service to 84% of national households.
