Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with Jalboot Maldives to enable connectivity to customers while aboard vessels and during their stay in the Maldives.
The partnership was announced at the ceremony held at Ooredoo Maldives Head Office in the presence of Managing Director of Jalboot Maldives Mohamed Roestali and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ooredoo Maldives Khalid Al-Hamadi.
The partnership was formed with the aim to improve the customer experience for tourists during their stay in the Maldives, easing their access to connectivity services. Ooredoo stated reliable connectivity is crucial in the travel industry in order to provide high-quality services and for tourists to stay updated on news, stay connected with friends and family, and to attend business matters while traveling. Under the partnership, customers of Jalboot Maldives will be able to acquire connectivity solutions directly from the vessels without the hassle of going to any counter or shop.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khalid Al-Hamadi said access to reliable connectivity is crucial in the digital era, and with the strategic partnership with Jalboot Maldives, Ooredoo’s aim is to ease access to connectivity where tourists can acquire SIM cards directly from the vessels.
Meanwhile, Roestali said communications technology is vital for the growth of Jalboot Maldives and Ooredoo is known for its evolutionary digital services. He said both companies will together enhance the customer experience with a common mission to enrich the lives of their community.
