Maldives Immigration has relocated the Southern Regional Office to Maradhoo, Addu City.
The opening ceremony of the new office was attended by the Mayor of Addu City Ali Nizar and the Immigration staff of the southern region office.
The southern office was previously operated in Hithadhoo Ward Office and faced a lack of space to provide services. Maldives Immigration revealed the southern office was relocated to create a better environment to provide services more conveniently.
The first Southern Regional Office was opened in 2016.
