The Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives (CA Maldives) has opened registration for Maldives Accountants Forum (MAF) 2022. The deadline for registration is until October 25.
MAF is the largest event for accounting professionals in the Maldives. The forum aims to train accounting professionals and promote the accounting profession. This year's forum will be held under the theme of Economic Transformation, Rethinking Growth in the New Economy.
CA Maldives said the event will focus on tourism, transportation, sustainable financing, and fisheries as well as challenges in many different industries. The forum is open to those working in the accounting and auditing departments of government ministries, and state-owned and private companies.
The forum will be held from October 29-30. It will feature technical sessions and panel discussions with international professional accounting organisations and local accounting professionals. These are verifiable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions and as many members as possible are encouraged to attend these sessions.
