Bank of Maldives (BML) has provided support to the annual Pink Ribbon Run-Walk organised by the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) to raise public awareness of breast cancer. The walk was held in Hulhumale' and in 33 islands.
Additionally, BML donated USD9,700 to CSM in support of initiatives to increase cancer awareness and provide psycho-social support to cancer patients and their families. The national bank will also be supporting CSM’s cancer screening programme in Faafu Atoll.
Furthermore, CSM conducted cancer screenings for BML staff as part of their longstanding partnership. The bank has been supporting CSM and the Pink Ribbon Run-Walk since 2016.
