Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Maldives Hospitality and Tourism Studies (FHTS) has revealed that a Tourism Jubilee Walk will be conducted to raise awareness about tourism among students.
Speaking to the media, the Dean at FHTS Zeenath Solih said the Jubilee Walk will be held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of tourism in the Maldives. She said the aim of the walk is to make students more aware of the tourism industry and share the experience of experts in the field.
Additionally, Zeenath said the walk will be attended by students from 21 schools, as well as college and restaurant workers. She said the public is also welcome to participate.
The walk will be held from 1600-1800hrs on November 19 and will begin at the Artificial Beach area and end at the Social Centre in Male' City.
