The Maldives Medical and Dental Council has received the authority to issue and nullify licenses to practitioners.
Under the new regulations, the Medical and Dental Council is required to register and issue licenses to medical and dental practitioners as well as formulate the criteria for approving the educational certificates of those wishing to get registered.
