Maldives National Association of Construction Industry (MNACI) has hosted the certificate awarding ceremony of the Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) training programme.
Minister of Higher Education Dr. Ibrahim Hassan was the chief guest at the ceremony. In his speech, Minister Hassan highlighted the importance of such training programmes and said that work in the construction industry is essential and needs more appreciation, as the workers are technically capable and accredited individuals.
MNACI and FIDIC conducted the two-month training programme online and taught participants about construction-related contracts in two modules. Participants of the training programme were taught the policies and contracts of FIDIC. They included employees from Amin Construction Private Limited, State Electric Company Limited (STELCO), Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and Fahi Dhiri Ulhun Corporation. A total of 31 participants graduated from the programme.
