Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company Limited (MIFCO) is hiring agents to sell their products in Addu City.
MIFCO will accept proposals from companies or businesses registered at the Ministry of Economic Development. Applicants will be required to make one proposal and MIFCO will choose the two best proposals. Interested parties can submit their proposals by December 22.
Agents will be required to sell canned fish products, dried fish, and other MIFCO products. Their responsibilities will include storing goods once they arrive at the Addu City ports and selling them. MIFCO stated that the agents will be hired for a one-year period and will be paid at the normal rate. Their contracts can be renewed for another year based on their performance.
