Hulhumale’ Hospital has opened a General Practice Clinic in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
The clinic is located in Hiyaa Tower 16 and is open from 1000hrs to 1700hrs except for Fridays and public holidays. The clinic is expected to ease the convenience of residents who previously had to travel to phase I or Male’ City for treatment.
Speaking to PSM News, Director at Hulhumale’ Hospital Abdulla Mauroof said two general physicians are currently staffed at the clinic, and that more services will be introduced in the future. He noted that many residents are visiting the clinic and that they can obtain referrals for specialist consultations at Hulhumale’ Hospital.
The clinic currently consists of a laboratory testing facility and an STO pharmacy. Hulhumale’ Hospital aims to facilitate vaccinations for toddlers at the clinic’s public health unit soon.
