The Municipal Services Committee of the Male' City Council has decided to reduce the fees charged for some services.
The committee decided to reduce the fee charged for the use of Male' and Villimale' lagoons and harbours and the price of boards issued for road work in Male'. The new price list has now been gazetted by the City Council and has been put into effect.
As such, the City Council reduced the fee for 24hrs to USD6.48 for boards to work without closing the road and USD9.72 for each additional day after the expiry of the board handover period. In addition, road closure permits and construction works will be charged USD16.2 for the first six hours and USD6.48 for each additional hour.
