Gov’t says renewable energy needs favourable market

Minister of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Mohamed Aslam has stated that renewable energy has a future but needs a favourable market. He made the remark at the opening ceremony of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Industrial Applications Society (IAS) Global Conference on Renewable Energy and Hydrogen Technologies (GlobConHT 2023).

At the opening ceremony, Minister Aslam highlighted the importance of developing the renewable energy sector and noted that there is still a large gap in the availability of renewable energy technologies and the demand both in developing and developed countries.
