Ministry of Economic Development has announced the business hours for cafes, restaurants, shops, and other general businesses during the holy month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal.
The economic ministry said shops and similar businesses will be permitted to operate between 0530-0100hrs during Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal. Meanwhile, cafes and restaurants will be allowed to operate from 1730-0300hrs during Ramadan and 0430-0300hrs during the first seven days of Shawwal. The new business hours are effective from March 15.
The economic ministry has advised catering establishments in residential areas to provide services during the designated hours.
