The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has stated that the Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be held in large congregations in Male’ if the weather permits.
The prayer congregations will be held at the Maafannu stadium, the Islamic Centre, King Salman mosque, Villimale’ football stadium, the Hulhumale’ synthetic track and cricket stadium. The Eid prayers will also be held in mosques in the case of bad weather and increased security measures will be implemented during the prayers.
The Islamic ministry advises worshipers to bring their own prayer mats, water bottles, and footwear bags for Eid prayers.
