Ministry of Health has contracted Duplex Private Limited to build a health centre in Inguraidhoo, Raa Atoll.
The agreement was signed by Senior Executive Director at the Health Ministry Abdul Hannan Hussain and Managing Director of Duplex Mohamed Aslam. Duplex is tasked with completing the project within 540 days at a cost of USD5 million.
The project is part of the government’s efforts to improve the health sector by developing regional hospitals and health centres and upgrading existing ones. The initiative will improve the healthcare services in all parts of the country and reduce the reliance on facilities in the Greater Male’ Region.
