Maldives Police Service (MPS) has requested individuals who have bought apartments at K. Park Residences to file reports immediately if there are any complaints.
In a statement, MPS said it is investigating the alleged sale of apartments at K. Park Residences in Hulhumale' using forged documents. The case was filed by Urbanco, which awarded the construction of K. Park Residence to Hanbo Tech Company Private Limited. The case was brought to the company’s attention by Hanbo Korea. Urbanco also stated that the company fraudulently sold flats to a large number of individuals and extorted money from them under the name of Hanbo.
K. Park Residences development project was officially launched in November 2016. The project to develop a 14-storey luxury apartment complex in Hulhumale' is handled by high-class international partners including Korean Developer Hanbo Company and Hong Kong Contractor Shijia Group in association with Hanbo Maldives.
