The government of Saudi Arabia has opened 350 fully funded scholarships to Maldivian students.
The Embassy of Saudi Arabia in the Maldives stated that students will receive the opportunity to study at any university in Saudi Arabia and that the scholarships will be fully funded by the Saudi government. The scholarships cover fields such as business management, media, computer science, law, agriculture, economics, politics, engineering, Islamic studies, and the Arabic language. Interested individuals can apply for the scholarships online.
The world university ranking published by the global higher education experts QS shows that 27 Saudi universities are listed as the world’s 100 best universities. The list consists of 15,700 universities across the globe. Saudi Arabia’s King Abdulaziz University, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University are renowned for their achievements in the international arena.
