Urbanco has partnered with the International Aid Campaign (IAC) to provide humanitarian aid to impoverished regions.
The agreement was signed by the Managing Director of Urbanco Ahmed Athif and the Chairman of IAC Ahmed Iqbal. Under the agreement, IAC will identify and provide assistance to those in need on behalf of Urbanco by working with local leaders and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and facilitate the humanitarian work.
Urbanco stated it will design site-specific plans for regions identified by IAC and ensure that the plans meet the needs of the communities. As such, the company stated that it will be formulating concepts for village or neighbourhood master plan while also assisting IAC in conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, infrastructure planning, architectural design, construction management, and quality control.
IAC is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) founded in 2016 and partnered with various international humanitarian organisations and 100 local NGOs under the common objective of providing humanitarian aid to those in need.
