First Lady Fazna Ahmed has inaugurated the Maldivian Patissier x Ell and Eves outlet at SME Hub in line with the administration's initiatives to promote and strengthen micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Following the opening ceremony, First Lady Fazna took the opportunity to visit several other stalls located within the SME Hub and engaged in conversations with the entrepreneurs and inquiring about their respective businesses.
Maldivian Patissier x Ell and Eves specialises in a wide selection of pastries. The outlet is operated by Aminath Hameed who is an acclaimed pastry chef and recipient of the Best Maldivian Pastry Chef award at the Food and Hospitality Asia Maldives (FHAM) 2022. She is joined by her sister Soozan Hameed who is a pastry chef and owner of Ell and Eves.
The administration led by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has consistently advocated for the growth and development of SMEs since its inception. The administration has undertaken various initiatives to support, strengthen, and foster these enterprises over the past four and a half years.
The administration remains steadfast in advancing SMEs and facilitating their continued growth. The introduction of the pioneering SME Hub is a testament to the administration's steadfast commitment to nurturing opportunities for their expansion.
